Boston, MA (My Sportsbook) - The City of Boston has planned for a Rolling Rally on Tuesday to celebrate the team's second World Series title in four years.

Similar to 2004, the team will start the rally at Fenway Park at noon (et) and conclude near City Hall Plaza, with players, coaches and staff boarding Duck Boats along the route. For safety reasons, however, the boats will not head into the Charles River as happened three years ago.

There will also be three jumbotrons, one each at Copley Square, Boston Common and City Hall Plaza, which will allow fans to watch the entire Rally.

"The Boston Red Sox have won the World Series for the second time in four years and it was a spectacular victory," Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino said. "I want to join all of Red Sox nation in congratulating our team on this amazing achievement. We will celebrate our World Champion team (Tuesday) with a rolling rally through the streets of Boston."

Boston completed a sweep of the Colorado Rockies on Sunday night to capture the series in four straight games. Boston became just the fourth franchise in Major League Baseball history to record sweeps in consecutive World Series appearances.

The Sox swept the St. Louis Cardinals in 2004 to end an 86-year title drought, and after their recent win, have taken seven Series in their 107-year history.
