Cleveland, OH (My Sportsbook) - Cleveland Cavaliers guard Dajuan Wagner needs more surgery on his injured right knee, this time to have the torn meniscus repaired. He will likely miss at least the first two weeks of the season, which opens on October 29. Wagner, who was the sixth pick in the 2002 NBA Draft, underwent surgery on the same knee late last season, forcing him to miss Cleveland's final 20 games. The 20-year-old met with noted sports surgeon Dr. James Andrews, who deduced from the MRI that Wagner needed surgery. The procedure will be done when the swelling subsides, most likely not until the end of the week. Wagner averaged 13.4 points per game during his rookie season. He has been sidelined for the past week after his knee swelled up following the first day of training camp.
