=== Philadelphia Flyers Team Report - October 17 === (My Sportsbook) - Jeff Hackett turned aside 27 shots, as the Philadelphia Flyers and San Jose Sharks skated to a 0-0 tie at the Shark Tank on Thursday. Hackett, who also blanked Buffalo, 2-0, in the Flyers' season opener last Thursday, is the first goaltender in Flyers history to record back-to-back shutouts to start a season. His shutout streak on the season is still intact at 125 minutes. The Flyers are unbeaten in three games this season (1-0-2). San Jose has just one win in its first four games of the campaign (1-2-1). Philadelphia had the first great chance of the extra session just 40 seconds in when Justin Williams blasted a slap shot from the top of the left circle. However, Nabokov made a magnificent glove save to stop the puck from heading into the upper right corner of the net. The Flyers, who went 0-for-5 on the power play, played their first scoreless tie since February 24, 2001 against Tampa Bay. Philadelphia will continue its four-game Western Conference road swing on Saturday when they meet the Phoenix Coyotes. The two teams split their two meetings last season, but Philly is just 1-4 in the last five meetings and have dropped three straight in the desert.. The Flyers, though, have won six of 10 and eight of the last 13 meetings.
