New York, NY (My Sportsbook) - The New York Rangers agreed to terms with right wing Dixon Ward on Tuesday. Terms of the contract were not disclosed. The 34-year-old Ward skated in 23 contests with SC Langnau of the Swiss National League last season, tallying eight goals and 19 assists. He has appeared in three preseason games for the Rangers and has collected one goal and one assist. The 6-foot, 200-pound Ward has appeared in 529 career NHL games with the Vancouver Canucks, Los Angeles Kings, Toronto Maple Leafs, Buffalo Sabres and Boston Bruins, and has notched 95 goals and 129 assists along with 429 penalty minutes. Ward was originally selected by Vancouver with their sixth choice, 128th overall, in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft.
