"DeSagana's continued improvement has been very encouraging," said president and general manager of basketball operations Jim Paxson. "He is in the best shape of his career and is making an impact on the defensive end of the floor." Diop, who was the eighth overall selection in the 2001 NBA Draft has averaged 1.5 points and 2.4 rebounds in his career. The 21-year-old ranked 35th in the league last year in blocks per game. |
