=== Tampa Bay Lightning Team Report - November 9 === (My Sportsbook) - After halting their first losing streak of the season in explosive fashion Saturday night, the Tampa Bay Lightning try to win their second straight today when they visit the Carolina Hurricanes at RBC Center. Tampa Bay, which opened the campaign 7-0-1, had fallen to Washington and Los Angeles heading into last night's clash with Pittsburgh, but the Bolts responded with a 9-0 rout at the St. Pete Times Forum. Vincent Lecavalier notched his third career hat trick and Nikolai Khabibulin needed to stop only 15 shots for his first shutout of the season. Ruslan Fedotenko scored twice and Cory Stillman added a goal and three assists for Tampa, which set a franchise scoring record for a single game. The Lightning also outshot the woeful Penguins by a staggering 42-15 margin. Lecavalier now has eight goals on the season and surpassed Stillman for the team lead. Stillman's seven tallies and six assists, though, give him a club- high 13 points. As for Khabibulin, he made his ninth start in 11 games and moved to 7-1-1 with a 1.97 goals-against average and .926 save percentage. Saturday marked his 12th shutout as a member of the Lightning, which tied Darren Puppa's team record. As a unit, the Lightning have allowed a league-low 19 goals in 10 games. Tampa Bay, 2-0-0 on the road this season, kicks off a three-game trip today and will visit Florida on Tuesday.
