Edmonton, AB (My Sportsbook) - The Edmonton Oilers placed forward Marty Reasoner on injured reserve Tuesday because of a fractured left ankle. The 26-year-old Reasoner was injured in Saturday's 4-1 loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs when he got tangled up with Leafs' defenseman Bryan Marchment and fell along the boards. In 13 games this season, Reasoner has posted two goals and six assists. In 2002-03, he totaled career-high totals with 11 goals and 20 helpers in 70 contests. Through parts of six seasons with the Oilers and St. Louis, the 6- foot-1 center has recorded 36 goals and 61 assists and is a plus-32. |
