Indianapolis, IN (My Sportsbook) - In an effort to show that preparations are being made for the 2004 Champ Car season, CART officials unveiled a partial schedule for next year.
"We have crafted a schedule that is challenging for our teams and drivers, as well as enticing to our sponsors and fans," said CART President and CEO Christopher R. Pook.
However, the season is still in limbo until the purchase and privatization of Championship Auto Racing Team, Inc. becomes official.
The schedule includes races at new venues in Las Vegas and Seoul, South Korea. Four tracks are listed as TBA (to be announced) and there is still an unanswered question as to whether there will be a European swing
