Atlanta, GA (My Sportsbook) - The Atlanta Thrashers activated goaltender Kari Lehtonen off injured reserve Monday, and assigned him to the Chicago Wolves of the American Hockey League for conditioning.

The 24-year-old Lehtonen missed the team's last 16 games since suffering a groin injury on October 18 against the New York Rangers.

Lehtonen has struggled for Atlanta this season with no victories in five games. The Finnish netminder also has a robust 4.49 goals-against average and .879 save percentage.
