Sacramento Kings look to continue their early-season success Saturday when they travel to Memphis to square off with the Grizzlies.
The Kings improved to 2-0 with an easy 100-72 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Thursday. Peja Stojakovic poured in a game-high 26 points and Bobby Jackson added 20 points and 10 rebounds, leading Sacramento to the win.
Hedo Turkoglu scored 16 points and Vlade Divac netted 13 points and pulled down seven rebounds for Sacramento.
The Kings were without star forward Chris Webber, who missed the game because of a lower abdominal strain. Webber complained of discomfort during the team's morning shoot-around. Team doctors discovered strained muscles and Webber is slated for an ultrasound exam on Friday. Webber was expected to make the Kings' four-game road trip that begins in Memphis and he is doubtful for Saturday's game.

Doug Christie also served the second contest of his two-game suspension for a pre-season fight with the Lakers' Rick Fox and is eligible to return Saturday.
The Grizzlies fell to 0-2 on Friday with a 109-86 setback to the Detroit Pistons in Auburn Hills. Pau Gasol scored 21 for Memphis, but also committed five turnovers, and rookie Drew Gooden also had 21 points for the Grizzlies, who were 18-of-21 from the charity stripe.
Jason Williams, who faces his former team Saturday, finished with 10 points in the loss.
The Kings went 3-1 against the Grizzlies last season, winning the final three meetings. Overall, Sacramento has won eight of the last nine tilts and 14 of 16. The Kings have also won seven of their previous nine road games against the Grizzlies.
