Houston, TX (My Sportsbook) - The Houston faithful gets their first look at Yao Ming Saturday when the Rockets play their home-opener against the Toronto Raptors. After being shut out in his first NBA game, Yao scored just two points on 1-of-5 shooting in 12 minutes in Friday's 83-74 win at Denver. The top pick of the draft pulled down seven boards after collecting just two in his debut. Steve Francis scored 21 points and grabbed 13 rebounds and Cuttino Mobley netted a game-high 29 points for the Rockets, who earned their first win of the season after falling to Indiana in their opener on Wednesday. Houston forwards Glen Rice (knee) and Kenny Thomas (thumb) missed Friday's game and are questionable for Saturday's tilt. Forward Maurice Taylor will serve the third installment of a five-game suspension for the Rockets Saturday. Toronto suffered its first defeat of the season on Friday, as it tied an NBA record-low with just six fourth-quarter points on the way to a 91-72 setback to San Antonio in the first regular season game at the SBC Center. The six points were the fewest scored in a quarter by Toronto in team history and also were a record-low allowed by the Spurs. Vince Carter scored 18 points and Voshon Leonard added 17 for the Raptors, who shot just 30-percent from the field in the game. Antonio Davis finished with 10 points and Jelani McCoy grabbed 15 boards in the loss. The Raptors and Rockets split two meetings last season, with the home team winning each contest. However, Houston has won three of the last four clashes against Toronto overall and two straight at home. The Raptors are just 1-6 all-time in Houston.
