New York, NY (My Sportsbook) - Indiana Pacers forward Jermaine O'Neal was fined $5,000 Friday for criticizing officials during Indiana's 78-76 loss to Boston this past Tuesday. The fine was handed down by the NBA prior to the Pacers' home game against Seattle. O'Neal also apologized for criticizing Indiana fans who booed the club during the loss. O'Neal was visibly upset when the Pacers squandered a 15-point lead. He was then sidelined for much of the second half due to foul trouble, which resulted in his chastising of the home crowd. On the season, the two-time All Star is averaging 19.5 points and 11 rebounds per contest.
