Houston, TX (My Sportsbook) - The Houston Rockets activated Maurice Taylor Wednesday after the forward finished serving a six-game suspension that was reduced from 10 games. Taylor was suspended without pay for violating the terms of the NBA/NBPA Anti-Drug Program. However, the penalty was reduced after it was determined that the 6-9 Taylor was in compliance with the program. In four games this season, Taylor is averaging 9.8 points and 4.5 rebounds per contest. He was suspended for the initial five games of the 2002-03 season for violating the league's drug policy and was also suspended in 2001 for marijuana. To make room on the roster, Houston waived forward Alton Ford.
