Buffalo, NY (My Sportsbook) - Buffalo Sabres defenseman Jay McKee will be out two-to-six weeks with a sprained left knee. McKee suffered the injury during the first period of Wednesday's 4-1 loss to the New Jersey Devils. The Sabres had benched McKee for a pair of games just last week. He has no points and 21 penalty minutes in 17 games this season. McKee recorded five points in 59 games last season, while missing a quarter of the campaign due to a knee injury. He was drafted 14th overall in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft by the Sabres. During the 2001 Stanley Cup playoffs, McKee scored the biggest goal of his career in overtime of Game 2 at Philadelphia, giving Buffalo a 2-0 first- round lead in the series.
