Houston, TX (My Sportsbook) - Toronto Raptors star guard Vince Carter left Saturday's 88-76 loss to the Houston Rockets with a strained quadriceps tendon above his left knee. Carter went down with 6:17 to go in the first quarter and did not return. He finished with two points. Carter missed the final 14 games of last season after surgery to repair the same knee. The 25-year-old Carter is listed as day-to-day and will be re-examined in Toronto on Monday. Carter, a three-time All-Star, played through the preseason and the Raptors' first two games with no pain. He was the team's leading scorer in the first two games, averaging 18 points and three rebounds in 36 minutes.
