=== Tampa Bay Lightning Team Report - November 21 === (My Sportsbook) - Nikolai Khabibulin turned aside 26 shots in net, leading the Tampa Bay Lightning to a 3-2 victory over the New York Islanders at the St. Pete Times Forum. Khabibulin was backstopping a shutout for nearly 55 minutes until the Islanders scored a pair of late goals to make it interesting. Fredrik Modin, Brad Richards and Cory Stillman found the back of the net for the Lightning, who are unbeaten in four of their last five (3-1-1). In search of his second shutout of the season, Khabibulin's hopes were dashed when Arron Asham scored on a wrap-around with 5:41 remaining in the game. Mark Parrish tallied 4:17 later with a second-effort goal in front of the net. The Lightning are a stellar 7-1-1-1 on home ice and will close out a brief stand Saturday against Buffalo. |
