Miami, FL (My Sportsbook) - Miami Heat forward Caron Butler is sidelined indefinitely as he continues to recover from knee surgery. Butler underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee October 4. He was then placed on the injured list October 27. For the first time in eight games, Butler didn't play at all in Saturday's 100-98 loss to the Phoenix Suns. Butler told the Sun-Sentinel on Saturday that he doesn't want to return to action until his knee is completely healthy. The 23-year-old Butler is averaging just 4.3 points and 1.3 rebounds in eight contests this season. Last season for the Heat, Butler played in 78 games and averaged 15.4 points and 5.1 boards as a rookie.
