Seattle, WA (My Sportsbook) - Two squads with two-game losing streaks hook up tonight as the
Houston Rockets land in Seattle to take on the SuperSonics at KeyAena.
The Rockets were blown out by the Sacramento Kings, 103-74, Friday at ARCO Arena.
Cuttino Mobley notched 17 points for the Rockets, while Steve Francis notched 15 points and Yao Ming added 14.
After falling behind 7-6 early, Sacramento mounted an 19-7 run to end the first quarter. Bibby delivered eight of the points, and a foul shot by Tony Massenburg gave the team a 25-14 lead.
The Kings then outscored Houston 29-14 in the second quarter. Seven points by Booby Jackson highlighted a 14-3 flurry to start the second, which put them ahead 39-17.
Two foul shots by Brad Miller with less than three minutes left in the second put Sacramento ahead 46-23. His three-pointer capped the scoring in the quarter and staked the team to a 58-24 halftime advantage.
The Kings' advantage grew to 60-32 less than three minutes into the third quarter on a basket by Mike Bibby.
Sacramento's lead was pushed to 89-59 on a 20-foot jumper by Jabari Smith midway through the fourth quarter.
This is the final contest of a five-game road trip for the Rockets, who are 1-3 on the current swing.
Seattle lost to the Utah Jazz, 98-81, on Friday at the Delta Center.
Brent Barry finished with 20 points for the SuperSonics, who never led in their second straight loss. Vladimir Radmanovic delivered 14 points.
Luke Ridnour finished with 11 points for Seattle, which was without forward Rashard Lewis after the death of one of his brothers.
Lewis is expected to play tonight.
Seattle is 3-4 at home this season.
In 2002-03, the teams split four meetings as each club won once at home and once on the road.
Overall, the home team has won eight of the last 10 meetings.
Houston, which has won two of three and three of the last five meetings with the Sonics, has lost four of its last five at Seattle.
