Minneapolis, MN (My Sportsbook) - The Minnesota Timberwolves return home to battle the Washington Wizards at the Target Center on Tuesday.

The T'wolves are playing the second of a back-to-back, as they were blown out in New Jersey on Monday, 106-82.

The Timberwolves committed a franchise-record 27 turnovers in the game which led to 39 New Jersey points. Kevin Garnett led all scorers with 23 points, and he pulled down 10 boards, while Troy Hudson added 10 in the losing effort.

Minnesota played without swingman Wally Szczerbiak (left foot) for the fourth consecutive game, as the team has dropped two straight contests after winning its first two. He is again questionable for Tuesday's game.

The Wizards are also coming off a loss to New Jersey, as the Nets posted an 87-79 win over Washington at the MCI Center Saturday.

Jerry Stackhouse paced all scorers with 23 points and Michael Jordan chipped in 21, including 14 in the fourth quarter, for the Wizards. Kwame Brown pulled down a game-high 14 rebounds, but made just 2-of-10 shots from the field for four points.

Christian Laettner finished with 13 points for Washington, which shot just 37 percent from the floor and hit only 2-of-15 three-point attempts.

Minnesota swept the two-game season series with the Wizards last season and has won three of the last four meetings overall. Washington has dropped two straight at Minnesota, but has won eight of the last 11 contests at the Target Center.

The Wizards are 0-1 on the road this season, with the loss coming at Toronto in their season-opener. The Wolves are a perfect 2-0 at home.
