San Antonio, TX (My Sportsbook) - The Golden State Warriors will try to snap a three-game slide when they face the only team they have beaten this season, the San Antonio Spurs, at the SBC Center tonight. Golden State is coming off a 107-100 setback to the Dallas Mavericks on Monday night at AmericanAirlines Arena. The Warriors fell behind by 22 points before scratching their way back into the game. In the end, Steve Nash and Dirk Nowitzki were too much for Golden State. Wasted in the loss was a superb effort by Jason Richardson, who scored 39 points for the Warriors. Gilbert Arenas added 22 points and Antawn Jamison chipped in with 21 for Golden State. "Guys were knocking down some shots and we were doing a good job playing off the screens," Richardson said. "It's a good learning experience, but we want to win." The Warriors will be playing their fourth game in five nights when they take the floor tonight. Golden State will be without Danny Fortson (personal) and Bob Sura (calf). San Antonio is coming off a 103-101 overtime victory over the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday night. Tim Duncan scored 29 points, including a 12-foot jumper as time expired in the extra session to win the game. He also grabbed 14 rebounds in the victory. "We went with our horse and feel that he got the job done," Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said. "He missed a few shots, but even Michael [Jordan] misses." Golden State snapped a 16-game series losing streak when it knocked off the Spurs 106-98 to open this season. The Warriors have lost nine straight at San Antonio.
