New York, NY (My Sportsbook) - LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Carmelo Anthony of the Denver Nuggets were named the NBA's Eastern and Western Conference Rookies of the Month, respectively, for November. James, the first pick in 2003 NBA Draft, ended the month as the leading scorer among rookies with a 17.5 points per game average. In his pro debut, the 18- year-old scored 25 points, dished out nine assists and grabbed six rebounds against Sacramento. Anthony, the third overall selection in the 2003 NBA Draft, finished the month second among rookies in scoring with a 17.4 average. |
