Mike Ribeiro also scored on an assist from Bulis for Montreal, which is unbeaten in six of its last seven (4-1-2). Jose Theodore had 28 saves in the victory. Bulis broke the tie with 13:48 left in the final period after a bad defensive zone giveaway by Petr Nedved, who tried to direct a clearing attempt through his legs to a streaking Eric Lindros. Saku Koivu stole it and fed Bulis, who beat Mike Dunham high to the glove side for his sixth goal this year. Defenseman Stephane Quintal returned to the Canadiens' lineup after serving a one-game suspension for a match penalty last week against Carolina. The Canadiens, 6-5-1-1 on the road, opened a three-game trip. They'll continue the swing Friday in Florida. |
