Jamal Mayers also scored for St. Louis, which remained unbeaten in the month of December (7-0-1). Keith Tkachuk added three assists in the victory and extended his scoring streak to eight games. He has four goals and eight assists in that stretch. Chris Osgood turned aside 27 shots in the victory for the Blues, whose last four games were decided by one goal -- three of which went into overtime. The Blues, who are one point behind Detroit for the top spot in the Central Division, close out their four-game homestand Saturday against Phoenix. |
