Allan Houston led all players with 33 points, including a jumper that tied the game in the final seconds of regulation. Keith Van Horn added 15 points for the Knicks, who lost for the eighth time in 10 games. Neither team led by more than two points in overtime until Vince Carter drained a pair of free throws to make it 103-99 with just 15 seconds remaining. It was his jumper one minute earlier that gave Toronto the lead for good at 101-99. The Knicks allowed the Raptors to hit 50 percent from the field, while managing just 41.1 percent. Toronto also outrebounded New York, 47-42, in the contest. New York returns home to host the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday night. The Knicks have split 12 home games this season, including wins in two of its last three tilts at Madison Square Garden. |
