Toronto, ON (My Sportsbook) - The Toronto Maple Leafs try to extend their unbeaten streak to six games tonight when they welcome the Florida Panthers to Air Canada Centre. The Maple Leafs are coming off Saturday's home win over the rival Montreal Canadiens. Mats Sundin scored his fifth game-winning goal of the season with 29 seconds remaining to lift Toronto past the Habs. Bryan McCabe added an empty-net goal with one-second left to round out the scoring. Toronto's Wade Belak scored the tying goal eight and a half minutes into the third period, as the Maple Leafs extended their franchise-record point streak to 14 games (12-0-1-1). Toronto has won eight of its last nine home games and is 4-0-1 in its last five contests overall. Ed Belfour made 19 saves for Toronto, which has picked up a point in 25 of its last 28 games. The Maple Leafs, who have 47 points and are tied with Philadelphia for the most in the Eastern Conference, begin a four-game road trip against the New York Rangers on Friday. Florida was dealt a 3-2 overtime loss in Ottawa on Monday night. Todd White scored at 1:34 of the extra session to push the Senators past the Panthers at the Corel Centre. Valeri Bure scored both goals for Florida, and Roberto Luongo stopped 42 shots for the Panthers, who have managed just two wins in their last 12 games (2-3-5-2). Florida, 5-8-3 on the road this season, welcomes Anaheim to Sunrise on Saturday night. The Panthers are 3-1-2 in the last six meetings with the Leafs and are also 3-1-2 in their previous six trips to Toronto.
