The Canucks have just one loss in their last eight games (4-1-3) and lead the Northwest Division with 44 points. Artem Chubarov, Todd Bertuzzi and Brent Sopel also scored for Vancouver, while Dan Cloutier turned away 24 shots. Chubarov had gone 20 games without scoring a goal. The Canucks, who have gone to an extra session in 12 of their last 18 games, are 6-2-6 in overtime this season. Vancouver's next game is on Friday in Calgary. |
