=== Boston Celtics Team Report - December 24 === (My Sportsbook) - The Boston Celtics found themselves on the wrong end of a 93-88 decision to the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday at Philips Arena. Walter McCarty came off the bench and posted a team-high 16 points the Celtics, who lost a road game for the first time in four chances. The game was close in final few minutes, but with 1:45 left to play Shareef Abdur- Rahim's bucket put the Hawks up for a good at 87-85. Abdur-Rahim then made six straight free throws down the stretch, including two with just 11.1 seconds remaining to put his team in front, 93-88. Abdur-Rahim was the Hawks' only scorer over the last 4:22 of the game. The Celtics will return to action on Friday in Phoenix. |
