Detroit, MI (My Sportsbook) - The Detroit Red Wings acquired defenseman Brad Stuart from the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for a second-round pick in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft and a fourth-round selection in the 2009 draft. Stuart has appeared in 63 games this season and has posted five goals with 16 assists for 21 points. He has 58 goals and 227 points in 570 NHL games over eight seasons with the San Jose Sharks, Boston Bruins, Calgary Flames and Los Angeles. The 28-year-old veteran signed with the Kings as an unrestricted free agent last July and has now been traded each of the last three seasons. He was sent to the Bruins in November 2005 as part of the deal that landed Joe Thornton in San Jose, then was traded by the Bruins to Calgary last February. Stuart was selected with the third overall pick of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft by San Jose.
