=== Carolina Hurricanes Team Report - December 28 === (My Sportsbook) - Carolina managed to edge the Montreal Canadiens, 2-1, in overtime at the RBC Center Saturday. Sean Hill scored two power-play goals, including the game winner just 39 seconds into overtime, to lift the Hurricanes to the victory. Hill now has a three-game point streak. His three goals this season have come in the last two games. Hill's winning goal was set up by a cross checking penalty against Montreal's Andrei Markov. Ron Francis won the faceoff near the left circle and slid the puck slid to Hill, who wristed a high shot past Jose Theodore. Kevin Weekes stopped 18 shots for Carolina, which snapped a two-game losing streak. Carolina's last power play goal came on December 9th. The Hurricanes had gone without a goal in 26 previous power play attempts. The Hurricanes return to the ice Monday night against the Buffalo Sabres at the RBC Center.
