Richard Zednik scored the lone goal for the Canadiens, who fell to 7-8-1-2 on the road this season. Jose Theodore made 24 saves. Zednik's one-time blast, at 5:58 of the third period on the power play, forged a 1-1 tie and forced overtime. Saku Koivu registered an assist on the power play tally.
