(My Sportsbook) - The Phoenix Coyotes continue their push for a playoff spot tonight, as they play host to the
Calgary Flames at Jobing.com Arena.
Phoenix has won two of its last three games, and while it is 16 points behind first-place Dallas in the Pacific Division, the Coyotes are only a point out of the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
The Coyotes picked up a close win on Thursday by downing the Blues, 2-1. Ilya Bryzgalov stopped 41-of-42 shots, while Ed Jovanovski and Niko Kapanen each scored first-period power-play goals for the Coyotes.
Bryzgalov has been outstanding over his last three games, halting 100-of-102 shots faced while posting a 2-1-0 mark with a 0.68 goals-against average and one shutout.

Starting tonight, the Coyotes will play six of their next seven games at home. Phoenix, which is 14-14-3 as the host this year, will play in Dallas on Wednesday before returning home for a five-game residency.
The Flames fell out of first place last night, courtesy of a 3-1 setback in Anaheim. Calgary remained stuck on 75 points, while Minnesota's win in Florida gave them a two-point edge over the Flames for the top spot in the Northwest standings.
Dion Phaneuf scored the lone goal for the Flames, who have dropped their last two games. Jarome Iginla and Daymond Langkow posted the assists, as Iginla leads the club with 38 goals, 38 assists and 76 points this season.
