Jason Richardson scored 14 points for Golden State, which had its two-game winning streak ended. Troy Murphy pitched in 11 points while grabbing 12 boards. Leading by three at the half, the Nuggets scored eight straight points in the first two minutes of the third, as Andre Miller's two baskets extended the margin to 58-47. Denver later scored eight of the final 12 points of the third to build an 83-65 cushion. Earl Boykins' jumper with 6:23 left finished up a 12-6 run that started the fourth quarter, giving Denver its biggest lead of the game at 95-71. The Nuggets then cruised to the 24-point win. Golden State's fell to 4-9 on the road this season. The Warriors host Paul Pierce and the Boston Celtics tonight. |
