Oakland, CA (My Sportsbook) - The Boston Celtics try to get back on the winning track tonight when they wrap up a four-game road trip against the Golden State Warriors at the Arena.

Boston fell to 1-2 on its trek Sunday with its worst loss of the season, a 105-82 setback to the Los Angeles Lakers. Paul Pierce led the Celtics with a game-high 24 points, while Vin Baker netted 13 points for Boston, which has lost three of its last five games.

Ricky Davis added 10 points and eight boards off the bench for the Celtics, who committed 23 turnovers. Since acquiring Davis from the Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston is 3-3.

The Celtics, who have won four of its last six away from home, are 7-8 on the road this season.

Golden State also comes into tonight's affair on a sour note after falling to the upstart Denver Nuggets, 103-79. Jason Richardson had 14 points for the Warriors, who had their two-game winning streak stopped.

Troy Murphy pitched in 11 points while grabbing 12 boards.

Golden State connected on 10 of its 21 shots in the opening quarter and led by 14, but were atrocious from the field the rest of the way and ended the game shooting 37-percent.

The Warriors, who have won six of their last eight home games, are 10-5 at home this season and will hit the road for five games following tonight's contest.

Boston split its two games with the Warriors last season, but Golden State have won for of the last six meetings. The Celtics have also dropped seven of their last nine in the Bay Area.
