Vancouver, BC (My Sportsbook) - The Vancouver Canucks announced Thursday that defenseman Mattias Ohlund will be out for at least a week and could possibly be gone for the remainder of the regular season. An MRI revealed that bone chips in Ohlund's left knee are the source of severe pain and swelling in the joint. Ohlund will rest for four to six days to hopefully reduce the swelling. If he is still in pain, then surgery will be needed to remove the fragments, which would end the 31-year-old's season. In 50 games this season, Ohlund has posted eight goals, 14 assists and 79 penalty minutes.
