Kenyon Martin added 17 points and Kerry Kittles scored 14 points for the Nets, who have won four of their last five games. New Jersey put the game out of reach early in the third as Martin extended the margin to 58-48 with a jumper. The Nets stretched the gap to 13 on two Kittles' foul shots later in the quarter and they led by a sizeable 71-56 score after 36 minutes. Golden State never threatened in the fourth quarter. The Nets are off until Friday when they host rookie sensation LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. |
