New Orleans Hornets play the third of a four-game road trip tonight when they land in Toronto to face Vince Carter and the Raptors at Air Canada Centre.
The Hornets enter tonight's game with a 1-1 record on the current road swing. On Wednesday, Baron Davis poured in 29 points and handed out 10 assists to lead New Orleans to a 96-94 win over the Boston Celtics at the FleetCenter.
David Wesley scored 22 points and P.J. Brown posted 15 points and 14 rebounds for the Hornets, who have won two of their last three games.
New Orleans, which wraps up its road trip on Saturday against the Indiana Pacers, is 10-8 away from home this season.
The Raptors, who return home after going 2-1 on a three-game road trip, begin a four-game homestand tonight.
On Tuesday, Alvin Williams scored 17 points and handed out six assists, as the Raptors held off two late rallies by the Denver Nuggets to pull out an 81-74 victory at the Pepsi Center.
Jalen Rose also scored 17 points for the Raptors, who won for just the third time in their last nine contests.
Chris Bosh and Donyell Marshall were the double-double guys in the win for Toronto, as Bosh scored 11 points and pulled down 12 rebounds, while Marshall added 10 points and ripped down 13 boards. Carter was Toronto's fifth double- digit scorer with 15.
The Raptors, who have lost two of their last three at home, are 9-4 as the host this season.
In 2002-03, the Hornets won all four games with the Raptors.
