=== Cleveland Cavaliers Team Report - January 3 === (My Sportsbook) - The Cleveland Cavaliers found themselves on the wrong end of a 97-82 decision to the New Jersey Nets on Friday. Carlos Boozer led Cleveland with 16 points and 13 boards. LeBron James scored 14 on just 6-of-19 shooting, but also handed out nine assists for the Cavaliers, who have dropped four of five on the heels of a three-game winning streak. Cleveland got as close as 74-72 in the fourth, but the Nets responded with a 23-6 spurt to put the game away. Jason Kidd had nine points during the burst, including a three-pointer to cap it and give New Jersey a 97-78 lead with less than two minutes remaining. The Cavs, who dropped to 2-15 away from home this season, will return to Cleveland on Tuesday to host the New York Knicks. |
