Chicago comes into tonight's affair on a rare winning note after topping the New York Knicks, 104-99, on Friday. Jamal Crawford continued his strong play of late and poured in 28 points, grabbed six rebounds and handed out six assists to fuel the attack. Kirk Hinrich celebrated his 23rd birthday and scored 19 points for the Bulls, who won for the first time in their last three games and picked up just their third victory in their last nine tries. Antonio Davis added 14 points and 10 boards in the win. Crawford is averaging 24.2 points over the last five games to up his scoring average to a team-high 17.5. The Bulls, who will be starting a brief two-game homestand tonight, have dropped three of their last four and five of their last eight at home and are 5-11 at the United Center. Chicago defeated the Celtics earlier in the year and has won four of the last six and five of the last eight matchups. Boston has also lost three of its last four and five of its last seven in the Windy City. |
