Chris Tamer posted the lone goal for the Thrashers, who fell to 0-3-0-1 in their last four contests. Byron Dafoe made 30 saves for Atlanta.

With 43 points, the Thrashers now lead the Southeast Division by just four over second-place Tampa Bay.

Atlanta played the second of a five-game swing and will visit Dallas on Thursday.
