=== Chicago Bulls Team Report - January 4 === (My Sportsbook) - The Chicago Bulls dropped their third game in four tries on Saturday with an 88-77 loss to the Boston Celtics. Jamal Crawford was the only Bull in double-figures in points with 16 to go along with his six assists. Jerome Williams contributed nine points and 12 rebounds for Chicago, which lost for the seventh time in 10 games. Chicago trailed just 68-67 when Kendall Gill hit a jumper with 6:51 remaining in the game. But the Celtics took off on a 13-3 run, with Paul Pierce's dunk with 1:52 to go providing the exclamation mark, and Boston led 81-70. The Bulls wouldn't get closer than nine points the rest of the way. Chicago returns to action on Monday when it hosts the Phoenix Suns. |
