Montreal, QC (My Sportsbook) - Atlanta Thrashers winger Bill Lindsay will miss the remainder of the season after undergoing surgery on Sunday to repair a fractured larynx. The 32-year-old veteran signed with Atlanta this summer as an unrestricted free agent after splitting last season between the Montreal Canadiens and their AHL affiliate in Hamilton. In the second period of Saturday night's 5-1 loss against the Canadiens, Lindsay was hit in the throat by a puck. He is expected to be hospitalized for up to 10 days. Lindsay was scoreless in 24 games this season. |
