Tayshaun Prince scored 20 points and grabbed nine rebounds for the Pistons, who won their fifth in a row and kept an opponent under 100 points for a single-season NBA record 34th consecutive game.

Dating back to last season, Detroit has held its opponents under 100 points for an NBA record 36 straight games. The Pistons are 15-1 when scoring 90 or more points.

Detroit forward Corliss Williamson (back spasms) is questionable for tonight's contest.

The Pistons, who snapped a four-game road losing streak with an 87-87 win over Atlanta on December 27th, are 8-8 as the visitor this season.

Pierce collected 33 points to help the Celtics overcome a brutal first half, as Boston topped the Chicago Bulls, 88-77, on Saturday at the United Center.

Mike James scored 18 points and Walter McCarty posted 11 points and 11 rebounds, as the Celtics put the brakes on a two-game skid. Boston rebounded to post the win after facing a 15-point deficit while scoring just 31 points in the first half.

Boston, which has lost two straight at the FleetCenter, is 8-10 as the host this season.

The home team has won seven of nine and 12 of the last 15 meetings between these two squads. Detroit has won four of the last six contests with the Celtics. The Pistons have lost five of their last six at Boston.
