Philadelphia, PA (My Sportsbook) - The
Philadelphia 76ers seek to extend their winning streak to three games on Wednesday when they host the
Los Angeles Clippers at First Union Center.
After losing their season opener in Orlando, the Sixers have posted home victories over Milwaukee and New York to improve to 2-1 on the season.
In Friday's game against the Knicks, Allen Iverson scored 15 of his 35 points in the final quarter to lead Philadelphia over New York, 98-86.
Aaron McKie posted 22 points, a career-high 13 rebounds and seven assists for the Sixers, who battled back from a 17-point deficit. Keith Van Horn added 17 points and 12 boards.
The Sixers, coming off four days' rest, will play the third of a four-game homestand Wednesday.
LA earned its first win of the season on Sunday, topping the Detroit Pistons, 74-72, at Staples Center.
Michael Olowokandi poured in 19 points and tied a career-high with 20 rebounds, while Elton Brand scored 17 and grabbed 13 boards.
Andre Miller added 10 points and nine assists for the Clippers, who were coming off losses to Cleveland and the Lakers. LA was 27-of-35 from the charity stripe, but also turned the ball over 12 times in the game.
Clippers guard Quentin Richardson left the game with a hyperextended right knee. He is questionable for Wednesday's game, which marks the Clippers' first road game of the season.
The Sixers won both meetings between these teams last season and have taken four of the last five overall. The Clippers are winless in their last five trips to Philadelphia.
