New Orleans, LA (My Sportsbook) - The struggling Philadelphia 76ers go on the road tonight as they pay a visit to the Hornets at New Orleans Arena.

This is the second meeting of the season between the two teams. The Hornets defeated the Sixers, 106-99, in overtime on November 5, 2003 at the Wachovia Center.

The 76ers, who come into tonight's game on a three-game losing streak, fell to the Seattle SuperSonics, 90-81, on Monday at the Wachovia Center.

Glenn Robinson scored 27 points for the Sixers, who have dropped nine of their last 13 games. Allen Iverson contributed 18 points and Kenny Thomas contributed 14 points and 12 boards in Monday's setback.

Robinson has been playing very well. He has scored in double digits in seven straight games and is averaging 23.9 points in those contests.

Philadelphia, which has lost seven of its last nine on the road, is 8-13 as the visitor this season.

The Hornets could be shorthand tonight, as starting guard Baron Davis is doubtful

The 24-year-old Davis suffered a sprained left ankle during the fourth quarter of Monday's 97-90 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves at the Target Center. Before leaving the contest with the injury, Davis scored 25 points and dished out five assists.

Davis has played in 41 games for the Hornets this season. He leads the team in scoring (24.3 ppg), assists (8.0 apg) and steals (2.46 spg). The UCLA product is also averaging 4.2 rebounds per game.

On Monday, New Orleans also played without rookie forward David West, who missed his fourth consecutive game with a sore knee. There is no timetable for his return.

New Orleans, which has won four of its last seven at home, are 12-7 as the host this season.

The Hornets have won two straight and three of their last four against the 76ers, who have lost three of their last five at New Orleans.
