Bronx, NY (My Sportsbook) - Anaheim relief pitcher Ben Weber sprained his right index finger as the Angels downed the New York Yankees, 8-6, in Game 2 of the AL Division Series on Wednesday. Weber suffered the injury in the eighth inning when Raul Mondesi's infield single hit off the reliever's hand. He is expected to have X-rays taken on Thursday in Anaheim. The righthander was dealt the loss in Tuesday's Game 1 after surrendering two runs in the eighth inning. The 32-year-old Weber went 7-2 with a 2.54 ERA in 63 relief appearances this season.
