Minneapolis, MN (My Sportsbook) - The Minnesota Timberwolves go for their 13th straight victory at home tonight when they welcome Tracy McGrady and the Orlando Magic to the Target Center.
Earlier this season, Minnesota crushed the Magic, 100-71, on November 7 at the Target Center. The Timberwolves held the All-Star McGrady to just four points in the win.
The Timberwolves, who last lost at home on December 9, 2003 to Golden State, attempt to sweep the Magic for the first time since the 1990-91 campaign.
On Sunday, Kevin Garnett collected 32 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists, as the Timberwolves rallied to defeat the Philadelphia 76ers, 106-101, at the Target Center.
Sam Cassell chipped in 29 points and nine assists in the win for Minnesota, which has won 12 of its last 14 contests. Latrell Sprewell ended with 21 points for the Timberwolves, who have captured their last 12 games at home.
Minnesota is 16-5 as the host this season.
Orlando comes into tonight's game on a two-game losing streak. The Magic fell to the Los Angeles Clippers, 115-106, on Saturday at TD Waterhouse Centre.
Gordan Giricek paced the Magic with 20 points in defeat, as Orlando lost its third straight at home. Juwan Howard posted 19 points, while Keith Bogans netted 17. Drew Gooden and Rod Strickland came off the bench to score 14 and 12 points, respectively.
The Magic, who have won two of their last three on the road, are 7-19 as the visitor this season.
Orlando has lost three straight and four of its last five at Minnesota.
