Boston enters tonight's tilt on the heels of a home-and-home sweep over the Toronto Raptors that culminated with Sunday's 91-82 triumph at the Air Canada Centre. Paul Pierce led the attack with a game-high 22 points Jiri Welsh added 15 points and six assists, while Mark Blount netted 14 points to go along with 10 rebounds for Boston, which had lost seven in a row and 13 of 14 prior to its sweep over the Raptors. Despite being 11 games under .500 (25-36), the Celtics are currently tied for ninth place in the Eastern Conference, just a half-game back of the Miami Heat for the eighth and final playoff spot. Boston, which will close a brief two-game homestand on Friday against Washington, has lost five of its last six at home and is 12-18 in front of its crowd this season. The Celtics are just 2-6 in games played on Monday this season. Boston has won two of its three meetings with Orlando this season and could have the advantage tonight, as the home team in this series has won nine of the last 11 meetings.
