Cleveland, OH (My Sportsbook) - The Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday activated guard Jeff McInnis from the injured list and released guard Mateen Cleaves. McInnis had 16 points and 10 assists in 37 minutes during Cleveland's 87-86 loss to Toronto at Gund Arena. He had missed eight of the previous nine games with a bruised right shoulder. McInnis had to briefly leave the contest versus the Raptors after rolling an ankle in the fourth quarter. The 29-year-old North Carolina product is averaging 11.7 points and 6.1 assists in 66 games this season. The Cavaliers fell three games behind idle Boston for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference with only five games left. In a related move, Cleaves was released after signing a 10-day contract last week. Cleaves played in four games and averaged 3.8 points and 4.8 assists per contest.
