San Diego, CA (My Sportsbook) - The Arizona Diamondbacks optioned struggling pitcher Micah Owings to Triple-A Tucson on Tuesday. Since starting the season 6-2 in his first 10 starts, the righty has gone 0-7 in his last 12 starts. In his last outing on Monday, he was banged up for eight runs and six hits in just three innings of work to take the loss in the 8-5 decision against San Diego. Overall, he is 6-9 with a 5.93 earned run average in 22 starts. To take his place on the roster, the Diamondbacks recalled righty Jailen Peguero from Tucson.
