New York, NY (My Sportsbook) - New England defensive end Willie McGinest was fined $7,500 by the NFL for a rough tackle on former teammate Drew Bledsoe. McGinest was fined for picking Bledsoe up and slamming him to the ground on a sack during the second quarter. McGinest fell on top of Bledsoe at the end of the play, which according to a league spokesman was a violation of league rules. McGinest has recorded 36 total tackles, including four sacks, in eight games this season. He has also posted five passes defensed. |
